Evaluating Factors Affecting Digital Transformation Towards Smart Port in Hai Phong Using CFPR

Digital transformation is making significant impacts on the maritime industry, particularly at container ports. As the second-largest port in Vietnam and a key gateway connecting trade with Northeast Asian economies, Hai Phong Port plays a crucial role in the national logistics network. Despite the continuous growth in cargo throughput and the implementation of digitalization, the application of smart port technologies remains limited. Current systems such as Smart Port and E-Port only support basic functions like online payment, electronic invoicing, and container information lookup. This study aims to identify the critical success factors of digital transformation in the port sector through expert interviews and the Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relations (CFPR) method, providing a foundation for the development of smart ports in Vietnam.
