REABILITAÇÃO EM MAXILA COM IMPLANTES E CARREGAMENTO IMEDIATO
Edentulous maxillae present challenges for oral rehabilitation, as they compromise patients’ general health, aesthetics, and function. Rehabilitation through immediate loading implants has become a widely used technique, as it offers a solution to edentulism, which affects numerous middle-aged individuals—often as a result of former dental practices that were less conservative. Once tooth loss occurs, rehabilitation becomes necessary and may involve removable or fixed prostheses. However, over the years and due to the numerous benefits, implant-based rehabilitation has gained prominence. When patients present favorable anatomical and financial conditions for such treatment, it becomes an excellent option, as it restores aesthetics and function while providing greater comfort and security in chewing, speaking, and smiling. Therefore, the objective of this study is to conduct a literature review that aims to analyze scientific articles, as well as to describe, understand, and explore the significance of the topic: Immediate implants in the maxilla. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were also applied to filter useful content for the construction of the article. The study highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis and proper procedural execution to ensure satisfactory rehabilitation. This research is expected to provide a general overview of immediate loading implants, emphasizing their benefits. Keywords: Immediate loading; Maxilla; Implants; Edentulism; Rehabilitation; Aesthetics; Function.
