Model and Method for Comprehensive Evaluation of Investment Benefits of Power Grid Based on FCM Algorithm

As the development of renewable energy in the world is becoming more and more extensive and complex, it is difficult for traditional investment decision evaluation methods to accurately reflect the situation. Therefore, this paper proposes a new comprehensive evaluation model for power grid investment based on the fuzzy C-means (FCM) algorithm. The reason for doing this is to improve the accuracy and reliability of previous estimates. First, data including economic benefits, environmental impacts, and social impacts should be collected in a multidimensional form; then the raw data set should be processed using standardized methods to facilitate comparison with each performance indicator. Then, the benefit pattern of each investment project is clustered and analyzed based on the fuzzy C-means algorithm, and the fuzzy membership matrix is used to finally calculate the comprehensive score of the project benefit. The model’s accuracy score in evaluating power grid investment in a specific province exceeded the 90% threshold, which is higher than many other traditional evaluation methods. The evaluation model based on the FCM algorithm effectively disperses the multi-dimensional data integration problem, provides a scientific basis for power grid investment decision-making, and improves rationality and foresight.
