Research on Intelligent Construction Platform for Assembled Buildings Based on BIM and Internet of Things
The paper first elaborates on the related theoretical foundations, including BIM technology which can integrate 3D geometric models with various non-graphic information for virtual simulation and collaborative design, the Internet of Things technology that enables real-time data collection and intelligent control through sensors and network connectivity, and the characteristics of prefabricated building construction such as high industrialization, significant impact on schedules, and high coordination requirements. Then, it designs the overall architecture of the platform, including the data acquisition layer with specific hardware and software for collecting various construction data, the data transmission layer using wired and wireless technologies and custom protocols for stable data transfer, and the data storage and processing layer and application service layer. The function modules of the platform are developed, covering construction schedule management with 4D simulation and dynamic adjustment, quality management using BIM and IoT for inspection and data analysis, and safety management with real-time monitoring and hazard prevention. Through experimental design and case analysis on construction projects, it evaluates the platform’s performance with models like MAE, RMSE, and Accuracy Rate. The experimental results show that the platform has advantages in construction progress control, quality improvement, and safety enhancement, providing a more efficient and reliable solution for the construction industry.
