Optimizing Communication Technology Investment for Economic Growth and Industrial Transformation

With the swift evolution of emerging technologies such as 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI), the impact of communication technologies on fostering economic growth has become increasingly noticeable. China has made remarkable advancements in promoting the digital economy and supporting the digital transformation of industries, especially in the development of communication infrastructure and technological applications. This research aims to investigate how investments in communication technologies can simultaneously stimulate economic progress and generate societal benefits, particularly in the context of 5G deployment and industrial partnerships. By constructing an Industrial Relations Evaluation Framework (IRAF) and an Investment-GDP Correlation Model (IGRM), and incorporating the Leontief Input-Output Model alongside a Multi-criteria Resource Allocation Strategy (GIASF), this paper proposes strategies for optimizing the distribution of communication technology investments. It highlights how effective resource allocation can enhance economic performance, drive technological innovations, and facilitate industry cooperation. The study demonstrates that, as a fundamental component of infrastructure, investments in the communication sector play a pivotal role in promoting industrial modernization, economic transformation, and the advancement of social well-being.
