Application of 3D CAD technology in automotive machinery design
This study systematically discusses the innovative application of 3D CAD technology in automotive machinery design, and constructs a closed-loop design system from parametric modeling to multi-physics simulation. At the engineering verification level, taking the design of the conveyor chain of automobile axle forging as an example, the intermittent transmission mechanism was optimized based on virtual prototype simulation technology, and the dynamic trajectory planning and topology optimization algorithm of ratchet indexing device were adopted to significantly improve the motion stability and structural stiffness of the conveyor system. The results show that 3D CAD technology can systematically solve the efficiency bottleneck and engineering error problems in the traditional design process through four technical paths: parametric modeling, virtual assembly verification, modular deformation design and multi-physical field co-simulation, greatly reduce the design iteration cycle, and realize the deep integration of geometric accuracy and process specifications.
