Using computational modeling and four-dimensional computed tomography to predict type II endoleaks
The persistent type II endoleak is a thorn in the side of many a vascular surgeon, largely due to a natural history ranging from continued aneurysmal growth to resolution with sac shrinkage.1 As with many vascular pathologies, the complexities surrounding endoleak detection, progression and management begins with imaging.
