Discussion of Contemporary Threats Caused by Global Problems in the Framework of COP29

The COP was created from the ground up to address climate change for the benefit of humanity. Naturally, a unified view of the problem is important here. That is, the participating states should evaluate climate change in the same sense. As a second step, they should develop a joint action plan as a result of the assessment. They have to solve their finances. In the third step, they should implement concrete programs to solve the problem objectively and fairly. So, in fact, COP is a multi-faceted and step-by-step process in terms of implementation. Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 should be evaluated as a successful implementation of President Ilham Aliyev's strategy to further raise the country's international image and implement policies in line with sustainable development goals. The article analyzes the fact that the COP29 conference played the role of an important platform for Azerbaijan to strengthen this position, that Baku is not only an exporter of oil and gas, but also an active partner in promoting "green energy" and solving global climate problems. This is an indication that Azerbaijan will play an important role in global climate diplomacy and regional cooperation in the future. The article also highlights the adoption of an important document related to the Caspian Sea, the Caspian Declaration. With COP29, Azerbaijan showed the world that it is entering a new stage of activity. In this sense, COP29 is just the beginning. It is the beginning and a new stage on the way of becoming a stronger global actor of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This means that Azerbaijan has the chance to become the country where the world will gather to solve another very important global problem in the next 5 years. Azerbaijan gave a very important message in the context of COP. In other words, it confirmed the right of an independent state, which resolved the most difficult conflict on a regional scale with justice and law, to organize the COP event, which is of global importance.
