Kết quả điều trị tái tưới máu bằng dụng cụ cơ học cho người bệnh nhồi máu não cấp do tắc động mạch thân nền

Objective: To evaluate the results of reperfusion therapy using mechanical devices for patients with acute ischemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted on 99 patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion who were treated with mechanical reperfusion at the Stroke Center – Bach Mai Hospital from December 2021 to the end of September 2023. Results: The ratio of patients with good functional recovery (mRS 0-3) was 25.3%. The mortality in the study was 36.4%. Evaluated post-treatment with mechanical reperfusion therapy, the rate of symptomatic cerebral hemorrhage transformation and subarachnoid hemorrhage was 25.8% and 10.2%, respectively. There were no references between age, gender, presence or absence of risk factors for diabetes, previous stroke or location of embolism to patient outcome. There were references between the presence or absence of risk factors for hypertension or atrial fibrillation that affected patient outcome. Regarding radiology, pre-intervention pc-ASPECT score ≤6 was associated with poor patient outcome. Conclusion: Study of 99 patients with acute ischemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion treated with mechanical reperfusion device at the Stroke Center - Bach Mai Hospital from December 2021 to the end of September 2023, we had some conclusion: Risk factors that were associated with poor outcome on patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion included hypertension, atrial fibrillation and pre-intervention pc-ASPECT score ≤6.
