Effect of individual organic components on the thermal decomposition and generation of monocycle aromatic hydrocarbons in the pyrolysis of cellulose/xylan/lignin mixtures
Fast pyrolysis, rather than linear heating, favored the production of xylene. An increase in both cellulose and lignin content in the simulated biomass improved the yield of monocycle aromatic hydrocarbons via various mechanisms.
