Research of cooperative coupling technological policy between new energy and oilfield unsteady development

Abstract To research the cooperative coupling technological policy between new energy and oilfield unsteady development, a conceptual model considering planar heterogeneity is established by using numerical simulation software. Based on the numerical model, the different working systems affecting the unsteady water drive development are analyzed. The influence factors are mainly analyzed from the aspects of daily liquid production amplitude, working system adjustment frequency, and working system change mode. The research results show that considering the characteristics of solar energy resources and time-of-use electricity price, the oilfield unsteady development period should be concentrated in the region with high daily photovoltaic intensity, as well as the valley period and flat period of time-of-use electricity price. This can not only maximize the use of photovoltaic power generation energy but also fully utilize the low electricity price during the valley and flat periods to save electricity costs. For the oilfield with strong reservoir heterogeneity, the larger the daily fluid volume amplitude, the worse the unsteady waterflood development effect. When the daily fluid volume amplitude is less than 30 %, the influence on unsteady waterflood development is relatively small. Through cooperative coupling technological policy between new energy and oilfield unsteady development, it is not advisable to significantly change the working system of unsteady waterflood development, and the working system adjustment frequency should not be too much.
