Research on topology and control of high power density modular B2G converter
Abstract —This research focuses on high power density modular B2G converter topology and control. Firstly, the advantages and challenges of the DC distribution system are described, and the importance of solving low power efficiency attenuation, optimizing AC/DC converter design, and realizing cluster control is emphasized. Starting from the hardware part of the MVAC/LVDC converter, the overall topology of cascaded H-bridge, H-bridge inverter module topology, bidirectional AC/DC circuit topology, and bidirectional LLC resonant circuit topology are introduced. Then, to overcome the shortcomings of the converter efficiency attenuation, the MVAC/LVDC controller is designed in detail from the established control functions, including AC10kV voltage source mode, DC750V voltage source mode power control function, no-load operation function, online mode switching function.
