Kulisy powstawania filmu w reżyserii Jerzego Antczaka, na podstawie powieści Marii Dąbrowskiej „Noce i Dnie”

The subject of the article present creating Maria Dąbrowska’s novel “Nights and days” and its film adaptation directed by Jerzy Antczak. The author has attempted to outline the conditions in which the decision to make the film was made and the circumstances in which the film scenes were created. The places where the film was shot are described with geographical accuracy with authentic names of towns. It shows how important the figure of Maria Dąbrowska is for the Kalisz city, who placed her novel in the Kalisz realities at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Attention also was paid to cultivating the memory of the author in the Kalisz region.
