Epidemiology of tobacco smoking among physicians and students of medical university

The article analyzes the prevalence and intensity of tobacco smoking, and other social characteristics among doctors — students of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Samara State Medical University, senior students of the medical, pediatric, dental, pharmaceutical, faculties of the Samara State Medical University The article shows the wide prevalence of tobacco addiction, alcohol consumption, irregular meals, night shifts, dissatisfaction with their financial situation and working conditions among health workers, which sets the task of optimizing the working conditions and lifestyle of MR, prevention of tobacco addiction, which is undoubtedly important in the framework of the transformation of the health care system.
