The article is devoted to the history of the emergence and development of the parishes and communities of the Old Believers of the Belokrinitsa hierarchy, who did not accept the «District Message» of 1862 on the territory of the Russian Empire in the second half of the 19th century. The publication of the «Circumferential Message» in 1862 provoked a conflict in the Old Believer Church of the Belokrinitsky hierarchy and led to the separation from it of a large group of believers, headed by part of the Belokrinitsky episcopate. A new branch of the hierarchy arose - neo-okrugnicheskaya. The parishes of the Old Believers-neokruzhnikov were formed in many provinces of the Russian Empire. Most of the Old Believer villages of Guslits, the Kaluga province, a considerable number of Old Believers in Starodubye, the Volga region, Podolia, Bessarabia, Yekaterinoslav, Kherson, and so on, went over to the side of the neo-okruzhnikov. In the Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Kostroma provinces there were non-environmental sketes, and the Kurenevsky monastery operated in Podolia.During the second half of the 19th century, the parishes and communities of the Old Believers of the Belokrinitsky hierarchy, who did not accept the «District Message», developed and increased. Only with the beginning of the repressive policy of the Soviet state in the 1920s and 1930s, when the entire neookrugniy episcopate and a number of priests was destroyed, the branch of the Belokrinitskaya hierarchy that arose in 1862 began to gradually disappear.
