Semiotics of Hovhannes Grrigoryan’s Confessions
The paper deals with the iconic characteristics of the poems of the contemporary Armenian poet Hovhannes Grigoryan in translations into Russian. The work is based on the model of comprehension of the poetic text, which is schematically reduced to the characteristics of the sign (semantics, pragmatics, syntactics), peculiarities of artistic discourse (aesthetically relevant interpretation of reality, accentuated expression of the author's personality, multidimensional symbolization of the world) and the specificity of poetic worldview (fascination of the content and form of the text). The analysis shows that the key themes of O. Grigoryan's works are the declarations of love for his people and his country, reflections on the meaning of life and the destiny of man. His lyrical hero is not afraid to have a direct conversation with the Creator and sometimes puts difficult questions before the Creator. His stylistics is dominated by irony, sometimes turning into grotesque. The poet's poems intertextually correlate with the Bible, world literature and traditions of Armenian culture.
