A FUNÇÃO SOCIAL DA PROPRIEDADE RURAL: GOVERNO DE RONDÔNIA NO PERÍODO DE 2016 A 2020
The social function of rural property is a fundamental principle of Brazilian Agrarian Law, provided for in the Federal Constitution of 1988, which determines that land must fulfill its social role, promoting sustainable development, social inclusion and environmental preservation. This article analyzes how the government of Rondônia, from 2016 to 2020, implemented external public policies to fulfill the social function of rural property, with emphasis on land regularization, family farming and environmental preservation programs. The research was carried out through an integrative literature review, using scientific articles, legislation and government reports to understand the impacts of these policies on promoting social justice and reducing inequalities in rural areas. The results show that, although innovative innovations have improved progress in the inclusion of small producers and environmental preservation, there are still challenges regarding the implementation of constitutional guidelines. The study concludes that the social function of rural property must be continually strengthened through public policies that guarantee access to credit, technical assistance, infrastructure and the preservation of natural resources, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
