Meta-Material Enhanced Slot Antennas for Improved Gain and Reflection Coefficients in Wireless Technologies
This paper explores the enhancement of slot antenna performance by integrating meta-materials to improve efficiency for modern wireless communication systems. While slot antennas are known for their wide-band capabilities, they often suffer from lower gain due to their broad frequency operation. The study proposes the use of two meta material behind the slot antenna to increase the gain, reduce side lobes, and optimize reflection coefficients (S11). These structures act as reflectors, redirecting reflected radiation to the front, resulting in a significant gain increase from 2.20 dBi to 4.12 dBi for the and 7.42 dBi for confirm that he study highlights the trans-formative potential of The research emphasizes how meta-materials can revolutionize antenna performance, opening doors to significant advancements in communication technologies. These enhancements have the potential to deliver more dependable and efficient wireless networks, fostering overall development in the telecommunications sector.
