Supporting Presence in Gestalt Supervision
ABSTRACT Just as a single drop of water contains all the information of the quality of the water, certain moments in supervision sessions can capture the multiplicity of the forces of the field. This article presents certain instances from a field perspective. Written in I-language, the examples focus on valuable moments when resonances appear and on how the supervisor can support the supervisory process through presence at these specific moments. The aesthetic dimension is presented with the corresponding theory, along with proposals on how such concepts can be applied in a supervisory setting.
