Safeguarding Sensitive Information in Morden Enterprise-Data Masking Techniques

This study investigates advanced techniques to secure organizational financial data while enabling seamless inter-departmental collaboration and maintaining strict confidentiality. Financial data, encompassing structured records such as budgets, transaction logs, and audit details, require robust solutions that prioritize decentralization, security, transparency, and traceability. The research evaluates existing encryption and privacy methods used to protect sensitive financial information, highlighting challenges in scenarios requiring partial data decryption, such as audits or investigations, which may inadvertently expose confidential information. To address these challenges, this research study proposes a multilayer masking approach to ensure controlled access during critical situations. These layers are integrated with a Private Key Generator (PKG) to facilitate selective data masking, granting authorized personnel access to essential details while safeguarding highly sensitive information. By combining multilayer masking techniques with advanced authentication, authorization, and access control measures, this approach significantly enhances data security and confidentiality. The findings underscore the importance of adopting innovative methods to protect organizational financial data, ensuring transparency and secure collaboration without compromising sensitive details.
