Construction of a mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe for the detection of viscosity in living cells and zebrafish

The study designed a mitochondria-targeted probe PMI-MT using TICT mechanism. It detected viscosity changes in HepG2 cells' mitochondria under drugs and visualized real-time viscosity alterations in inflammatory zebrafish.
