UPI-Based E-Vehicle Charging Station
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and electric vehicle (EV) charging station integration is a major step towards improving the usability and effectiveness of the infrastructure supporting EVs. The National Payments Corporation of India created the novel UPI payment system, which enables quick and easy financial transactions using mobile devices. Users gain from a simplified payment procedure that eliminates the need for conventional, frequently laborious payment methods like cash or credit/debit cards by integrating UPI into EV charging stations. Creating a reliable payment gateway that communicates with the hardware and software of the E- V charging station is the first step in this integration. Through a mobile app, the UPI-based system enables a speedy transaction when a user starts a charging session.
