Intelligent Grocery Management System Using IoT for Personalized Shopping and Inventory Management

The Intelligent Grocery Management System (IGMS) leverages the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) to revolutionize personalized shopping and inventory management. The proposed system integrates smart sensors, RFID tags, and mobile applications to provide a seamless and efficient shopping experience. The IGMS monitors inventory levels in real-time, automatically generates shopping lists based on consumption patterns, and provides personalized product recommendations using machine learning algorithms. Shoppers can track expiry dates, receive notifications about discounts, and access detailed nutritional insights through a user-friendly mobile app. Additionally, the system enhances inventory management for retailers by predicting demand, reducing waste, and optimizing stock levels. Experimental results demonstrate that the IGMS improves shopping efficiency, reduces household food waste, and enables retailers to streamline operations and enhanced efficacy of the suggested strategy in inventory management, evidenced by its greatest Inventory Turnover Ratio (4.5) and lowest Stockout Rate (5%). This innovative solution aims to transform grocery shopping into a smarter, more sustainable, and personalized experience, catering to the needs of both consumers and businesses.
