Stability analysis of Casson hybrid nanofluid in a rocket engine nozzle with Cattaneo‐Christov heat flux and velocity slip effects

Abstract A recent study has described the mathematical model for energy transition caused by thermal Casson hybrid nanofluid flow (HNF) with Cattaneo‐Christov heat flux (CCHF), and melting heat effect in a rocket engine nozzle (REN) that comprises CoFe 2 O 4 , CdTe, TiO 2 , Cu‐CuO hybrid nanomaterials dispensed in kerosene C 12 H 26 –C 15 H 32 based fluid. Entropy generation is also deliberated in the study of fluid movement. The novelty of the model is to investigate the stability of the Casson HNF with entropy generation and melting heat effect. The considered model of HNF is a developing structure of PDEs, which are altered to a scheme of ODEs by suitable alteration. For the numerical framework, the ODEs are altered to linear system of ODEs and, then solved in RK4 method. It has been analyzed that the thermal field reduces when thermal relaxation factor (TRF) and melting factor ( Me = 0.2, 0.4, and 0.9) (MF) are enhanced. It is witnessed that the thermal filed is expressively escalations with the growing values of Biot number ( Bi = 0.2, 0.6, and 1.2) (BN). Also, entropy generation (EG) is growing function of Reynolds number ( R = 2, 4, and 12) (RN) and Brinkman factor ( Br = 4, 8, and 12) (BF). According to the literature survey, nobody has ever tried to characterize melt heat transition and CCHF applications by examining the movement through a REN using COFe 2 O 4 , CdTe, TiO 2 , Cu‐CuO hybrid nanoparticles dispensed in kerosene‐based fluid.
