PREVENTION AND INTENSIVE CARE OF COMPLICATIONS IN CANCER PATIENTS WITH COVID-19

Resume. Introduction. No one, including oncologists and their patients, expected the covid-19 pandemic to last this long. The first results obtained by chinese scientists back in march 2020 shocked oncologists: mortality among cancer patients was about 40%, among those who received anticancer treatment, and 70% of patients had a severe course. The purpose of the work. To increase the effectiveness of complex treatment of oncological patients who have suffered from СОVID-19, by improving the methods of prevention and intensive therapy based on the study of metabolic and energetic features. Research materials and methods. The basis of this study was the observational materials of 60 cancer patients who were treated on the basis of the anesthesiology department with beds for intensive therapy of the imro national medical university of ukraine (accreditation certificate for the higher category no. 014402, series of the ministry of health of ukraine, dated 05.21.19). The clinical part of the work was performed during the clinical and physiological examination and treatment of 60 cancer patients in the process of complex treatment after covid-19, aged from 25 to 75 years (median 53 years). Research results. Analyzing the duration of the disease before hospitalization in a specialized hospital, it was found that it was (2 ± 5) days in patients of the first group, and (3 ± 6) days in patients of the second group. Criteria for inclusion in the study: Age of the patient (over 25 years old). Consent to participate in the study. Presence of oncological pathology. Anesthetic risk according to asa is not higher than III degree. Exclusion criteria: Complicated anesthetic and therapeutic history. Violation of blood coagulation. Urgency of operations. High anesthetic risk according to asa, iv class. And above Refusal of the patient to participate in the study. The severity of the condition according to the arasne-ii, qsofa scales compared the types of anesthesia care. Conclusions. According to the results of the research: Statistically reliable data (p ≥ 0.05) of the formation of metabolic disorders of organs and systems were established in 89.8% of cancer patients who suffered from covid-19, the highest frequency of development occurred 3–9 days after the disease. Systemic complications were identified in patients who suffered from covid-19, in particular, damage to the respiratory organs in 89.2% of cases, cardiac disorders in 63.1%, cerebral disorders in 53.7%, urinary and digestive systems 41.2% and 37.2 %, respectively.
