Modern technologies for training air force medical officers
The paper examines the organization of the educational process for training air force medical officers at the Kirov Military Medical Academy. The educational and methodological work of the School of Aviation and Space Medicine is aimed at ensuring a high level of cadet and student training, developing their professional skills required for medical support of flight personnel in modern aviation facilities. A new educational environment has been created, with 15 themed classes equipped to simulate the impact of most flight factors using special training stations and simulators designed according to medical and technical requirements developed by the school’s specialists. Psychophysiological problems related to flight activity are considered. The authors analyze methods of preventing flight illusions and spatial disorientation, and emphasized the importance of simulator training for detecting and correcting such conditions, as well as modern approaches to training flight medical officers. The Aerospace Medicine Department of the Kirov Military Medical Academy remains the leading center for the training of flight medical support specialists in the Russian Federation. Advanced techniques, high-tech equipment, and innovative educational technologies enable the graduates of the Academy to successfully perform the tasks of flight medical support.
