How Does Digital Infrastructure Facilitate Green Technology Innovation in Enterprises? —From the Perspective of Intelligent Transformation

企业绿色技术创新是我国实现“双碳”目标和企业可持续发展的重要手段。本文阐释了数字基础设施影响企业绿色技术创新的作用机理，并结合2013~2022中国上市企业数据进行了实证检验。研究发现：数字基础设施建设对促进企业绿色技术创新有显著影响，该结论在多种稳健性检验下依然成立；数字基础设施通过推动企业智能化转型影响企业绿色技术创新；数字基础设施建设对绿色技术创新的提升作用在国有企业、非技术密集型企业更为明显。本研究不仅拓展了数字基础设施建设与企业绿色技术创新的研究视角，也为企业开展智能化改造提供思路和参考。Enterprise green technology innovation is an important means for China to realize the goal of “double carbon” and sustainable development of enterprises. This paper explains the mechanism by which digital infrastructure affects green technological innovation of enterprises, and empirically examines it with the data of listed enterprises in China from 2013 to 2022. The study finds that: digital infrastructure construction has a significant impact on promoting green technology innovation of enterprises, and this conclusion still holds under multiple robustness tests; digital infrastructure affects green technology innovation of enterprises by promoting intelligent transformation of enterprises; and the enhancement of green technology innovation by digital infrastructure construction is more obvious in state-owned enterprises and non-technology-intensive enterprises. This study expands the research perspective of digital infrastructure construction and enterprise green technology innovation and provides ideas and references for enterprises to carry out intelligent transformation.
