Advanced tin-lead hybrid chalcogenide solar technology to empower smart grids: NG optimises PEDOT:PSS to boost battery performance
Under the energy change led by the dual-carbon target, calcite solar cells, as a new generation of photovoltaic technology, have great potential to be applied in smart distribution grid scenarios. With its advantages of high efficiency, low cost, thinness and flexibility, it can solve the problems of difficult power supply, high maintenance cost and poor environmental adaptability of traditional distribution grids in remote areas, provide stable power supply for intelligent terminal equipment, and promote the intelligent and green development of distribution grids. At present, the research in this field is in the key stage of industrialisation. Based on interfacial engineering, molecular modification of the upper surface of PEDOT: PSS with 1-(4-fluorophenyl)bis(guanidine) hydrochloride (NG) was able to wash away the PSS reactive protons and reduce the non-radiative complexes, which is conducive to the long-term stability of the chalcogenide solar cells. The performance is good after 300 seconds in the steady state test, and NG has good compatibility with PEDOT: PSS, high hole transport efficiency, more uniform distribution of device voltage and efficiency, and the photovoltaic conversion efficiency of most of the cells is over 21%.
