Dual sideband probe Pound-Drever-Hall Brillouin optical time domain analysis
The distributed Pound-Drever-Hall Brillouin optical time domain analysis scheme based on dual-sideband probe configuration is proposed, offering the flat compensation for the pump wave. The sensing distance is effectively extended up to 75 km with the spatial resolution of 5.0 m, achieving the frequency resolution of 0.84 MHz. Besides, the benefit of fast measurement persists, with 3.3 seconds per interrogation after 3000 times averaged.
