Photo-bleaching effect of a 980nm light source on radiation-induced attenuation in pure silica core fibers
We investigated the photo-bleaching effect of a 980 nm light source on the radiation-induced attenuation (RIA) in puresilica core fibers, specifically for the development of distributed sensors in radiation-rich environments. Through gamma-ray irradiation experiments, we analyzed the influence of photo-bleaching on RIA within the 1400–1600 nm wavelength range and examined the effects on the RIA spectrum due to changes in the power of the bleaching light source.
