Optical fiber sensor based on lossy mode resonance for high-sensitive temperature detection

A high-sensitive optical fiber temperature sensor based on lossy mode resonance (LMR) was demonstrated. By constructing a composite film of SnO2/PDMS with appropriate thickness, the sensor achieved a high temperature sensitivity of -1.1883 nm/°C with a fast response time of 109 ms, and maintained a high linearity over a wide temperature measurement range from 10 °C to 90 °C.
