Omnidirectional Reflector Antenna Using TE01Mode Converter at 300 GHz
In this study, a horizontally polarized omnidirectional antenna at Sub-THz band for 6G was developed. The antenna was designed for Sub-THz band propagation experiments using an electromagnetic field simulator. It consisted of a circular horn antenna, TE<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">10</inf>-TE<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">01</inf>mode converter, and parabolic reflector and was evaluated with a prototype. The proposed antenna realized a VSWR of <2 and a directivity deviation of <4 dB in range of 290 to 330 GHz.
