Path Loss Measurements and Models at 300 GHz in an Industrial Environment
Path loss measurements at 300 GHz were performed in an industrial environment and large-scale propagation parameters were extracted. For the channel modelling, the close-in (CI) and floating-intercept (FI) models were considered. In this particular measurement campaign, the floating-intercept model has shown to be in better agreement with the measured data. Moreover, the models have shown how sensitive THz systems are to minor inaccuracies in antenna alignment, when horn antennas are used.
