C-Band Stretchable-Substrate-Impregnated Fabric Origami Deployable Reflectarray Antennas for Small Satellites

This paper presents stretchable-substrate-impregnated fabric origami deployable reflectarray for small satellites. The stretchable-sub strate-impregnated fabric enables high conductivity and high fabrication accuracy with the foldable and deployable properties. The designed reflectarray was measured and comparable with simulated results and measured one of conventional flexible printed circuit reflectarray.

Abstract

This paper presents stretchable-substrate-impregnated fabric origami deployable reflectarray for small satellites. The stretchable-sub strate-impregnated fabric enables high conductivity and high fabrication accuracy with the foldable and deployable properties. The designed reflectarray was measured and comparable with simulated results and measured one of conventional flexible printed circuit reflectarray.
