Strategi Komunikasi Interpersonal Pengurus PHDI dalam Pencegahan Perkawinan Anak di Kota Mataram

This research aims to determine and analyze the Interpersonal Communication of Mataram City PHDI Management in the Context of Underage Marriages. The problems revealed in this research are 1) What are the implications of the interpersonal communication of PHDI Mataram City administrators on preventing underage marriages, 2.) What are the factors causing underage marriages to still occur for the Hindu community in Mataram City, 3.) What are the steps taken by the administrators? PHDI Mataram City in efforts to prevent underage marriage. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research and data was obtained using observation, interviews and literature documentation methods. To analyze it, several theories are used, namely, Communicative Action Theory, Functional Structural Theory, Social Interaction Theory, Legal Certainty Theory and Customary Law, Legal Protection Theory. The results of this research are 1) the implications of the interpersonal communication of the Mataram City PHDI administrators on the prevention of underage marriage. The communication used by the Mataram City PHDI administrators uses interpersonal communication because this communication is often used in everyday life, secondly there are reports from the Hindu community with communicating in coordination with the Mataram City PHDI management, thirdly, intense continuous dialogue was carried out with the two prospective perpetrators of underage marriages, fourthly, the results of interpersonal communication were carried out by providing the best solutions and providing direct decisions, fifthly, interpersonal communication was combined with the theory of action. 2) Factors of underage marriage: One factor, lack of parental or family supervision, Two factors, promiscuity among teenagers under the age, Three Factors, pregnancy out of wedlock, Four economic factors, five Factors of social culture. 3) The steps taken by the Mataram City PHDI management are, firstly, conducting outreach to the Hindu community in Mataram City, secondly providing counseling, thirdly educating on the impact of underage marriage, fourthly providing counseling guidance, fifthly, monitoring and evaluation.
