Planejamento regional integrado e ferramentas de planejamento em saúde: relato de experiência na aprendizagem em serviço

Objective: To report the experience of a public health professional undergoing training in health management in the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Public Health during the Integrated Regional Planning (PRI) process in a Health Region in the state of Paraíba. Description of the Experience: This is an experience report on the regional stage of the project to strengthen the integrated regional planning of Paraíba, which used elements of situational strategic planning and included the participation of different health professionals. It can be divided between face-to-face and virtual moments and had the following stages experienced: Analysis of the regional health situation, listing of problems by thematic health care networks, prioritization of problems using the planning tools Problem Tree and GUT Matrix, and modeling of the maternal and child health care network. Conclusions: The formative experience of a health professional trained from the Unified Health System (SUS) and for the SUS, through health planning in a systematized manner, was aggregating due to the propositional, collective, and co-responsibility emphasis on problem-solving, providing the resident professional an improvement of diverse skills. With the experience involving SUS professionals, it was possible to come across the formative quality of residencies where learning and acting occur on a daily basis. Challenges regarding the regional organization of the SUS could be observed as theoretical and technical difficulties; despite this, planning based on the PRI provided the opportunity for public health professionals in training to refine their perspective on the governance and structuring of the health care network.
