Pytanie o pokój w czasach niepokoju: od kategorii teoretycznej ku społecznemu zaangażowaniu

In the face of escalating social tensions and a lack of acceptance of diversity, values such as security and peace become crucial in social life. This article examines theoretical concepts of peace within the framework of humanistic and social thought, providing a literature review on peace-related issues based on available research, with particular emphasis on pedagogical aspects. The qualitative research approach applied in the article, based on thematic analysis, allowed for capturing significant nuances related to peace education. The analysis identified four key research areas: contexts of peace, peace education programmes, university cooperation, and its role in peace education. The findings highlight, among other aspects, the increasing importance of peace education as a fundamental element in shaping social norms and promoting values such as tolerance and social integration, which are essential for achieving social stability and harmony.
