Evaluation of Printing Chracteristics of Inks Containg Plasmonic Nanoparticles

Plasmonic structures consisting of noble metal nano-assemblies with reporter molecule are prepared for use as information tags that have cryptography and carry authenticity. In this study, we created an ink that contains the plasmonic structures and evaluated its printing properties. We demonstrated inkjet printing using the inks including the plasmonic structures. Our experimental results and evaluations shed light on the development of “Nanotag” information tag and an authenticity tag.

Abstract

Plasmonic structures consisting of noble metal nano-assemblies with reporter molecule are prepared for use as information tags that have cryptography and carry authenticity. In this study, we created an ink that contains the plasmonic structures and evaluated its printing properties. We demonstrated inkjet printing using the inks including the plasmonic structures. Our experimental results and evaluations shed light on the development of “Nanotag” information tag and an authenticity tag.
