Enhancing Organizational Performance through Big Data Analytics: The Critical Roles of Knowledge Processes and Management Capability
This study investigates the impact of big data analytics (BDA) on organizational performance (OP), emphasizing the mediating roles of knowledge acquisition (KAC), knowledge conversion (KCO), and knowledge application (KAP), along with the moderating role of big data analytics management capability (BDAMC). Anchored in a positivist paradigm and guided by a deductive approach, the research utilizes a cross-sectional survey design within a quantitative framework. Data were collected from 384 professionals employed in the Bangladeshi telecommunications industry. The survey findings were analyzed using SPSS 26 and Smart-PLS 4.0 to evaluate the proposed model. The analysis indicates a strong and positive relationship between BDA and OP. Additionally, KAC, KCO, and KAP were found to partially mediate this relationship, while BDAMC enhanced the strength of the connection between BDA and OP. The study makes a significant theoretical contribution by extending the application of Dynamic Capabilities Theory and offering valuable insights for telecommunications leaders aiming to leverage BDA for improved operational efficiency, competitive advantage, and sustainable growth.
