Teaching Method Innovations in French Listening: From the “Traditional Three Centers” to the “New Three Centers”
The student-centered “new three centers” education concept is the direction of teaching reform in colleges and universities. Traditional French listening method in private colleges still faces challenges such as the “textbook-centered” approach that mismatches students’ cognition, the “teacher-centered” approach that restricts student-centeredness, untimely interactive feedback in the “classroom-centered” model, and insufficient French application skills. This study proposes integrating the “student-centered” education concept into French listening teaching, innovating the French listening teaching method from three aspects: student development, student learning, and learning outcomes, to mobilize students’ initiative.
