THE ROLE OF FINANCIAL ANALYSIS IN ENHANCING F&B OPERATIONS AT HOTEL TAMIŠ

This study focuses on the financial analysis of the Food and Beverage (F&B) department at hotel Tamiš in Pančevo, specifically examining wedding events. The research aimed to evaluate the economic performance and profitability of the F&B operations over a one-year period (2023 July – 2024 July). Utilizing Excel 365 for data analysis, the study projected significant financial outcomes, revealing a total revenue from food sales, with raw materials costs accounting for a notable percentage of this revenue, resulting in a substantial net profit. Additionally, beverage sales were projected to generate considerable revenue, with raw materials constituting a significant portion of the total. These findings underscore the department's efficiency in managing costs and generating profits, highlighting the critical role of financial analysis in optimizing operations and enhancing profitability within the competitive hospitality industry.
