Design, Simulation and Development of a Medium-Power Ultrasonic Generator for Bone Consolidation Therapy
Ultrasound (UT) has numerous medical applications, including therapeutic, surgical, and diagnostic procedures. The emission of medium-intensity ultrasound is crucial for the rapid recovery of patients with bone consolidation deficiencies, as it promotes faster healing, reduces the need for surgical interventions, and lowers associated hospital costs. This article presents the design, simulation, and development of a medium-power ultrasonic generator for therapeutic purposes. The design process, development stages, and results are detailed, highlighting the implementation of therapeutic medical equipment developed as part of the project milestones for Ultrasonic Systems for Biological Tissue Therapy (SUTBIO), initiated in 2024.
