Design of a Discrete-Time Event-Triggered Sliding Mode Control for an Input-Output Model
This paper introduces an event-triggered sliding mode controller (ETSMC) for linear Discrete-Time (DT) systems, utilizing only an input-output (I/O) representation. To synthesis the control law, two methods are used. In the first method, the synthesis control law is considered as the sum of an equivalent and a discontinuous control terms, achieving robust performance against perturbations. However, the chattering phenomenon still exists. Therefore, in the second method, a reaching-law strategy is developed to address this problem. In order to illustrate the theoretical aspects and efficacy of this technique, a simulated example is used to evaluate the suggested strategies.
