ABSTRACT This article proposes a reflection on teaching practice within both initial and continuing teacher education, focusing on the figure of the capable, practical, and inclusive educator. It discusses pedagogical approaches that render educational practice more attuned to students’ realities, particularly those in contexts of vulnerability and diversity. Adopting a humanistic and dialogical perspective, the text invites all educators to reflect on their own practice in order to build a transformative education, grounded in a commitment to inclusion, active listening, and context-aware pedagogy.
