Reversing Device of a Miniature Inchworm In-Pipe Robot

A reversing device for a miniature inchworm in-pipe robot, in which the reverse motion device is toggled by a single shared actuator, is developed. The advantages of a single-actuator inchworm robot compared to ones with multiple actuators are described. Examples of the design and operation of a single-actuator inchworm robot are given.
