Development of Indonesia’s Digital Education Platform for Learning: Unified Model

This study aimed at developing the Indonesia digital platform in which the evaluation was also conducted to evaluate its effectiveness by viewing the technology use and acceptance of the users with Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. Research and Development (R&D) was used as the research design particularly by adapting Waterfall model consisted of five main stages: requirement, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The study was conducted at SMK Telkom Bandung and SMK Telkom Malang. The research sample was 320 vocational high school students who were selected by using random sampling technique. The data were gained by distributing questionnaires to the research sample. The instrument used in this study was questionnaire designed by adapting UTAUT framework. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) data analysis techniques with the SmartPLS 4.0 program. The results show that effort expectations and facilitating conditions have a positive and significant direct effect on the use of PIJAR (developed digital platform) whereas performance expectations and social influence have no significant effect. Group, age, and gender do not have a moderating effect on the use of PIJAR.
