Phase behavior, crystal structure, and superprotonic conductivity of Cs[(H 2 PO 4 ) 1−2 <i>y</i> (HPO 4 ) <i>y</i> ]: phosphate deficient analogs to cubic CsH 2 PO 4 in
Cubic CsH 2 PO 4 , which crystallizes in the CsCl structure-type, can support a large concentration of excess Cs via phosphate vacancies. Dissolution of Cs 3 PO 4 into the cubic structure lowers the temperature at which superprotonic conductivity occurs.
