IMPROVING TIME MANAGEMENT IN LABORATORIES OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC CONDUCTING DIAGNOSIS OF BLOOD-BASED INFECTIONS
The article examines measures to improve time management in a modern immunoserology laboratory, where speed, accuracy, and the volume of conducted tests are crucial. Considering the high labor intensity of immunoserological tests and their significant variability depending on the type and number of tests performed, the actual labor costs of laboratory staff were analyzed. The possibility of effective workload modeling, tracking actual overtime, assessing the need for necessary staff units depending on the number of tests performed was evaluated. Additionally, data on the structure and magnitude of labor costs at workstations for immunoserology laboratory staff were presented, using the Bishkek City Center for Blood-Borne Viral Hepatitis and HIV Control as an example. Conclusions were drawn about the state of time management in the laboratory under current conditions, and recommendations were made for its improvement, which could be used for the optimization of the laboratory services in the Kyrgyz Republic.
