PREMATURE BIRTHS IN THE REGIONS OF KYRGYZSTAN
The article studied the frequency of premature births in regional health organizations of Kyrgyzstan, with an assessment of antenatal neuroprotection with magnesium sulfate, in pregnant women with a gestation period of 26–36 weeks on the incidence of intraventricular hemorrhages and perinatal mortality of premature infants. In regional healthcare organizations, the proportion of premature births was from 4.5 to 10.6 %. Priority problems remain early prevention and correction of prerequisites for premature birth (gestagenic support, treatment of recurrent vaginitis, surgical cerclage of the cervix, etc.). The level of antenatal neuroprotection with magnesium sulfate among women with premature births was initially zero, and in those organizations where this level began to be raised to 80%, no cases of IVH intraventricular hemorrhage were noted.
