Enhanced charge separation in a CoO<i>x</i>@CdS core–shell heterostructure by photodeposited amorphous CoO<i>x</i> for highly efficient hydrogen production

A CoO x @CdS core–shell hererostructure is constructed by photodeposited CoO x on the CdS for highly efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production. The resultant 2%CoO x @CdS exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity and outstanding photostability.
